It is a well known fact that people are the backbone of any successful organization.
As a volunteer at the Sarasota Classic Car Museum (SCCM) you will have a direct impact on helping to sustain one of the oldest car museums in the nation

Volunteer opportunities currently available:

Docent/Tour Guides

As a docent you will be in direct contact with the public and will have the privilege of educating and entertaining them on our collection of classic, antique, muscle cars and other memorabilia.

Every patron that comes through the Museum will have contact with you at our admissions and gift shop counter. A smiling face and good people skills are a must.

General Light Maintenance

General light maintenance entails a wide variety of tasks and duties. From keeping the museum tidy to helping set up for museum events.

Event Specialist

Events are a large part of our operations and we need people that are willing to share their knowledge of the museum and it’s history with the general public. Our events are sometimes off site of the museum grounds and after regular museum hours. We host car shows, parties, weddings, receptions and many other fun events.

As a SCCM Volunteer you will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of the automobile on our society and will be encouraged to share your knowledge with the general public.

We need positive, upbeat people to join our team.
